Why does this matter?
Modern tracking isn't just about cookies. It's about combining dozens of small, seemingly innocent data points (like your OS version, GPU model, and timezone) into a unique hash. This is called Browser Fingerprinting.
How to fix it
- Use Mullvad Browser or Tor Browser.
- Use Brave (it randomizes these outputs).
- Follow our Firefox Hardening Guide to enable
privacy.resistFingerprinting. - Avoid Chrome, which leaves these metrics wide open.
